For our client we are looking for a Senior ILS Manager with over 10 years’ experience in complex technical projects/programs.
Defence Project Our client are looking to create a broader Defence Portfolio of product and service offerings within the engines organisation. The ILS Manager is expected to be capable of driving change into an existing organisation in order to transition from a basic level of ILS knowledge to a capability to deliver ILS products and services as a broader set of the developing clients Defence Portfolio.
As an individual you are qualified to MS.c from either an engineering or defence context. Experiences of industry and acquisition organisations is an advantage. You are used to dealing with large organisations, are self-driven and able to lead a team. You are goal orientated and able to communicate across differing functional areas of the company. You are able to work within a values led organisation that embraces diversity.
The role entails creating a clear vison and goals for what is to be achieved, planning and setting actions for disseminating into the organisation. It will involve defence customer dialogue and negotiation related to agreeing and planning for deliverables. it will involve creating a stakeholder group to support the ‘organisation’ in creating new products and services, as well as meeting existing deliverables.
The role will also include; • Being the single point of contact for ILS within the ‘organisation’.
o reporting and creating strategic inputs to the ILS manager,
o creating business cases for after sales support services and products,
o interpret, document and plan in order to meet Defence customer requirements,
o provide and coordinate responses to questions ,
o co-ordinate internal stakeholders for ILS in relation to defence processes,
o identify risks and opportunities,
o investigate developing support services as part of creating a larger sales portfolio,
o establish Life Cycle Cost models,
o support identification and creation of necessary ILS information and data for Defence customers,
o support negotiations/discussions/dialogue with customers,
o provide feedback on ILS status through regular puls meetings,
o actively seek synergies with and optimisation across the organisation,
o attend and hold internal meetings.
o fluent English and French both in speech and writing are very meritorious
