Ework Scandinavia is founded
Magnus Berglind officially establishes Ework Scandinavia with the goal of revolutionizing how companies connect with consultants.
2003
First major milestone: 100 consultants on assignment
Ework reaches its first major achievement by having 100 consultants on assignment, proving the demand for its innovative approach.
2004
International expansion begins
Between 2004 and 2007, Ework expanded beyond Sweden, opening offices in Finland, Denmark, and Norway, marking the company’s commitment to serving clients across the Nordic region.

Ework surpasses 1,000 consultants actively working on assignments, demonstrating rapid growth and market adoption.

Ework goes public
Ework is listed on First North by OMX Nordic Stock Exchange, Stockholm, solidifying its position as a key player in the consultancy market.

Introduction of new solutions
Ework launched Pay Express, an innovative solution that ensures faster payments to consultants and addresses a critical challenge in the industry.
In 2011, Ework's first MSP was implemented. A big milestone in terms of deepening client partnership and supporting the clients' procurement function

Expansion into Central Europe: Poland office opens
Ework opens its first non-Nordic office in Warsaw, Poland, further expanding its footprint and presence in Europe.

Rebranding to Ework Group
Ework changes its corporate name from Ework Scandinavia to Ework Group AB, reflecting its international presence and continued growth.

A year of expansion
Entry into Slovakia: Ework begins operations in Slovakia, continuing its expansion across Europe.
Ework announces its next step in geographical expansion by establishing operations in Belgium in spring 2025.
